St John is Participating in a Souper Bowl Challenge!

Homestead Cluster is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Challenge to help the Community Food Pantry

Continuing through January 31, bring non-perishable food items to church and leave in shopping carts in entry area.  Your donation may be cans of soup, vegetables to be used to make soup, crackers, etc.  No donation will be refused, but to stay with the theme, we would love to have items that are related to soup.  Monetary donations also accepted, with each dollar donated, counted as a pound of food.

The number of pounds of food donated will be divided by the average number of worshipers (according to your annual report to the Synod in 2009).  The winner will be announced on Super Bowl Sunday (February 7, 2010) and will receive a traveling plaque.
